Your calculator inputs stay in your browser

SkeinWise currently operates without accounts, analytics, advertising, or server-side calculator processing.

Calculator data

Measurements, swatch use, yarn-label values, and results are processed in the open browser tab. They are not uploaded or saved by SkeinWise.

Clipboard

When you choose Copy result, your browser writes the displayed summary to your clipboard after your action. SkeinWise does not read unrelated clipboard contents.

Basic server records

The hosting provider may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, requested URL, time, and browser details, under its own service policies.

Future changes

This policy will be updated before analytics or advertising is enabled, including the provider, purpose, data involved, and available choices.
